Shawn [Warren]'s Story
Life
I grew tired of "Warren" and go by my middle name "Shawn" these days. I also started shaving my head 13 years ago and got a couple tattoos along the way so you may not recognize me. I graduated with a BS in Psychology (2 years belated) in 1998 from UW. In 2005, I received my Ph.D in Neuroscience from the University of Virginia School of Medicine, in Thomas Jefferson's Charlottesville. In 2006, I received my MD (medical degree) also from UVA. ford in the UK studying metastatic brain cancers as well as a Junior Fellow at one of Oxford's oldest colleges (Brasenose). That just means I teach a little and get to eat at High Table like Dumbeldore in Harry Potter. I started my neurosurgery residency at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles, CA, but resigned.
